The question of self-awareness and projection

We are what we know about ourselves and  what we do not know. The notions conscious and unconscious are hardly explainable because they are a kind of a living energy that is hard to classify and describe. However, the thing is that we often project on other persons what we do not know about ourselves or we do not like on ourselves.
The notion projection and the mechanism how it works we can possible understand with the help of a well-known fairytale The Beauty and the Beast – both of them are inside  us, and only when we accept the Beast with love, it can be transformed into a beautiful Princess. Many of our enemies will transform into our friends when we understand that through them we learn about the needs of our own soul. The main thing in this process is the conscious recognition of the Shadow, as it is called in psychology. The Shadow is in astrology symbolized with hard planets, often with Saturn. Here we discuss the “dark” side or, in other words, the unknown side or deep recesses of our personality because dark means secret, unknown, not bad or negative.
Like in fairytales, the language of the unconscious speaks to us through our dreams, with symbols and through universal energy patterns which Jung named as archetypes.
With the help of astrology one can learn more about himself and those dark sides of his/her personality that could become more plausible if one starts to cooperate with them.
